Police Update: Fatal Traffic Crash, Cedar Grove

A 83-year-old Tarragindi man, injured in a serious two-vehicle crash in Cedar Grove on Wednesday, December 25, has passed away in hospital.

Investigations indicate about 4.10pm on Wednesday, December 25 a Toyota Camry and a Toyota Hilux crashed at the intersection of Bamboo Drive and Mount Lindesay Highway.

The driver of the Camry, the 83-year-old man, was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition however passed away on Thursday, December 26.

No one else was seriously injured in the crash.

Any witnesses, especially those with dashcam vision of the crash or the moments leading up to the traffic crash, are urged to contact police.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
