Police Update: Fatal Traffic Crash, Harristown 27 July

A 26-year-old man has died in hospital after the motorbike he was riding was involved in a traffic crash at Harristown on July 23.

Initial investigations indicate just before 10am, a white 2005 Proton Jumbuck utility was travelling north along West Street when it collided with black and orange 2011 Honda Cbr250r motorbike at the intersection of Stephen Street.

The male rider from South Toowoomba was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition where he died this afternoon, as a result of his injuries.

The driver of the utility, a 77-year-old Harristown man, sustained minor injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing their investigations into the circumstances of the crash.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the traffic crash or seen the black and orange 2011 Honda Cbr250r, travelling in the Harristown region prior to the incident, to come forward.
