Townsville CIB and Homicide Unit detectives have established Operation Uniform Umbara investigating the suspicious death of a 44-year-old Townsville woman at Bluewater.
The body of a woman was located by members of the public in bushland off Jaloonda Road at approximately 4.40pm yesterday afternoon (August 13).
The area was declared a crime scene and an investigation launched.
Initial investigations indicate the woman died on the morning of August 13, with her death being treated as suspicious.
Anyone who was in the area at this time that may have information, CCTV or dashcam footage is urged to contact police.
