Four stolen cars remain outstanding following a crime series across metropolitan Adelaide this week.
Between 12.20am and 3am on Friday 15 March, two cars were stolen from a home in Lightsview, a 2021 grey Mitsubishi Eclispe with registration GJ03 and a 2016 white Volkswagen Jetta with registration S802BPB.
About 7.30pm on the same day, a 2022 grey Kia Cerato with registration S452CSD, was stolen from a Pooraka address.
At 3am on Saturday 16 March, a home in St Georges was broken into and a 2021 silver Land Rover Discovery with registration S070CLX, was stolen.
About 4.40am on Tuesday 19 March, a home on Godfrey Terrace at Leabrook was broken into and a Mercedes and a Porsche were stolen. The occupants were at home at the time of the break-in but thankfully were not confronted. Later, about 9.40am, the Mercedes and Porsche were located abandoned on Gay Avenue at Gilles Plains.
Three teenagers have been arrested following this crime series, a 15-year-old boy from Holden Hill, a 16-year-old boy from Flinders Park and a 13-year old boy from Davoren Park. They were all charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle. The two older boys were further charged with attempted aggravated serious criminal trespass. They are expected to be refused police bail to appear in Adelaide Youth Court on Wednesday 20 March.
Police are asking for the public's assistance to locate the four outstanding vehicles a Mitsubishi Eclispe, Volkswagen Jetta, Kia Cerato and Land Rover Discovery. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen cars is asked to contact the Police Assistance Line on 131 444.
