Police update: missing man at Finch Hatton

A search operation is underway in Nebo as efforts continue to locate a 42-year-old man missing from Finch Hatton since last week.

Robert Boettiger was last seen at a residence on Mackay-Eungella Road around 4pm on June-24.

Robert is caucasion, around 185cm tall of a large build with hazel eyes and short brown hair.

He was last seen driving a white 2011 Great Wall single cab utility with Queensland registration 178SDC (pictured).

The search is focusing on an area just north of Nebo and Nebo Creek and police will be utilising the RACQ CQ Rescue helicopter to assist.

Police are requesting land owners in the area to search their property for the vehicle.

Members of the public in and around nearby national parks and camping areas, are also requested to be on the lookout for Robert or his vehicle.
