A boat has been located in the search for a 42-year-old man missing from Maryborough.
Darryn Kimlin (pictured) was last seen departing the Lamington Bridge Boat Ramp about 10am on Saturday, November 2 and was expected to return from a solo fishing trip in the afternoon of Sunday, November 3.
However, he failed to return.
He was last in contact with friends at about 8:40pm on Saturday, November 2 and indicated he was fishing in the river mouth at Beaver Rock.
Polair and Marine Rescue Queensland joined the search this morning and a boat, owned by Darryn, has been located in the Beaver Rock area.
Darryn is described as Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall with a slim build, blonde / brown hair, and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve fishing shirt and board shorts.
Anyone with information regarding Darryn's whereabouts is urged to contact police.
