Police Update: Missing Woman, Monto

Police renew their appeal for public assistance to locate a 63-year-old Monto woman missing since February 29.

Wendy Hansen was last seen driving south on the Bruce Highway at Wild Horse Mountain on the Sunshine Coast at approximately 2.30pm on February 29.

She was travelling in her silver 2007 two-door Mitsubishi Pajero with Queensland registration plates 645TCZ.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare as her disappearance is out of character.

Wendy is described as Caucasian, around 165cm tall, with a slim build, hazel eyes and light brown hair.

Despite numerous enquiries and attempts to contact Wendy, neither she or the vehicle have been sighted since February.

Investigators are appealing to Wendy, or anyone with information to contact Police.
