Police update: Search and rescue - missing woman, Yalboroo

Police are urgently appealing for anyone in a 15-kilometre vicinity of Yalboroo to be on the lookout for missing 83-year-old woman Barbara Marincic.

Barbara went missing around 8.15am yesterday from a rural property on Tolchers Road and she has not been seen since.

Police are urging anyone travelling on the Bruce Highway at Yalboroo to be on the lookout for Barbara and anyone living in the area to search their properties, sheds and vacant houses.

Barbara has a medical condition and may appear disoriented and may not be able to find her way home.

She was last seen wearing a black dress with small, coloured flowers (pictured) and possibly wearing a straw hat.

Anyone who may have seen Barbara or has information about her location is urged to contact police.
