Police Update: Stolen Vehicles At Peak Crossing

Police have charged a 40-year-old man in relation to a stolen vehicle incident at Peak Crossing last night, January 31.

It will be alleged two vehicles were stolen from a Peak Crossing residence.

One of the vehicles, a Hyundai Santa Fe, was tracked by police and intercepted before a 40-year-old Leichhardt man was taken into custody.

He has been charged with two counts each of wilful damage and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle adversely affected by an intoxicating substance, enter dwelling and commit and possessing dangerous drugs.

He is expected to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court on February 3.
