Rugby Australia and the ACT Brumbies are delighted to confirm Billy Pollard has re-signed until the end of 2027.
The 23-year-old hooker put pen to paper to extend his time in the nation's capital until after the home Rugby World Cup.
A Lindfield Junior, Pollard joined the Brumbies in 2019, having been a key member of the Australian Schools and U18s side that went undefeated in New Zealand earlier that year.
He had to wait until 2021 to earn his first Super Rugby opportunity and has since gone on to feature on 40 occasions for the Brumbies, becoming a key player in their Super Rugby Pacific campaign, crossing the line eight times this season.
His Test debut came in Argentina in 2022, called in at the eleventh hour as a replacement after a Folau Fainga'a and David Porecki both picked up injuries during the week's preparation in San Juan.
Pollard's second opportunity in the gold jersey didn't come until last year under Joe Schmidt, with the dynamic hooker lacing up the boots in five Wallabies Tests in 2024.
Pollard joins a growing list of Wallabies in re-committing to Australian Rugby until at least the home Rugby World Cup and will play a key role for the Brumbies in their Super Rugby Pacific finals campaign.
Wallaby number 958 and ACT Brumbies hooker Billy Pollard said: "I'm really happy to re-sign with the Brumbies and Australian Rugby for two more years.
"There's nowhere else I would rather be at this stage of my career, and I feel I've got a lot of growth in me as a player and a person that can be achieved here in Canberra. As a team we are striving for success and I enjoy being a part of the playing group and the organisation at the Brumbies.
"Obviously there's some big milestone events on the horizon here in Australia and I'll be continuing to work hard to give myself the best chance to be part of those in a Wallabies jersey."
Rugby Australia's Director of High Performance, Peter Horne said: "Billy is a promising young player still at the early stages of his career."
"We're pleased he's re-committed his future to Australian Rugby and we're committed to supporting him to get the best out of himself on and off the field."
ACT Brumbies head coach Stephen Larkham said: "Billy has grown enormously as a player since he arrived at the club.
"He's been on the end of a lot of tries this season, but there are other areas of his game like his set-piece and defence where he has made such great strides.
"We're delighted that he will stay on with the Brumbies and hope he can help us achieve success in the coming years."
