The pool will be closed between Tuesday 25 June and Thursday 27 June for essential repairs to the boiler. We have expedited replacement parts from overseas, and are working with pool operator, BlueFit, to minimise the necessary closure time for pool users.
We are also currently conducting corrosion protection and repair works to strengthen the steel roof structure at the Centre. These works are being carried out behind construction hoarding and do not affect the operation of the pool.
All other businesses and community facilities at the Sandringham Family Leisure Centre, including the car park, Sandringham Sports Physio, Goodlife Health Club, and basketball stadiums, will remain open while these essential works are being completed.
The Sandringham Family Leisure Centre pool was built in 1978. We regularly maintain the pool facility to ensure its continued enjoyment by our community.
