High testing rates are crucial to stopping the spread of COVID-19 in the community and we thank the community for coming forward in large numbers and for their ongoing patience during times of high demand.
To ensure everyone can be tested as quickly and easily as possible, the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) are establishing additional drive through testing clinics at Kiama and Huskisson from today(Tuesday 29 June), with support from local private providers.
Services have also been extended at existing clinics throughout the Illawarra and Shoalhaven so the community can be tested as quickly and easily as possible.
New pop-up drive through testing clinics:
- Kiama Laverty - Kiama Netball Courts ( rear of Kiama Leisure Centre), 1 Havilah Pl, Entry via Terralong St – open 8am-4pm 7 days.
- Huskisson Southern IML – located behind the Husky Sports Club, entry via the oval off Park St – open 8am-5pm 7days.
There has been a high demand for testing at Nowra Showground, so they will remain open today until 6pm (8pm if required) to ensure everyone who turns up, gets tested.
