Port Kennedy Scrub Fire - Information Sought

Strike Force Vulcan officers continue to seek the public's assistance for information relating to any suspicious vehicles, people, or activity in the Port Kennedy area on Monday 3 February 2025.

About 9.50pm, emergency services were call to a bushfire near Scientific Park on Port Kennedy Drive which was started by a stolen Kia Rio sedan (pictured) being dumped and set alight on a bush track. The fire burned for several hours and destroyed three hectares of vegetation.

Strike Force Vulcan officers urge anyone with CCTV, mobile phone or dash-cam vision of the above area taken between 9pm and 11pm, to upload the vision direct to them via the link:
