Police and emergency services are searching waters near Port Lincoln for missing boat crew members.
Just after 8.30pm on Monday 25 March, police were alerted after five people who set off in a fishing vessel from Port Lincoln did not return.
Police Water Operations Unit and Port Lincoln Police coordinated the search effort along with resources from the local Sea Rescue. PolAir and a Challenger aircraft from AUSSAR was deployed to assist with the search.
Numerous messages across marine radio channels have alerted vessels in the area who are taking part in the search.
About 2am today (Tuesday 26 March) PolAir located an upturned boat near Spilsby Island.
One man and one youth were located on a reef and winched to safety. They were taken to hospital where they are being treated.
The search for the three missing people continues today.
