Postcard Art Unites Toowoomba, Albury Artists at Rosalie Exhibit

Digital duo Lisa Clarke and Ben Tupas have traded their predilection for modern technology by fashioning an exhibition from postcards they sent each other in recent years in a new exhibition at Goombungee's Rosalie Gallery from May 29 to June 23, 2024.

Observational Correspondence showcases the work of regional artists Lisa Clarke and Ben Tupas across their five-year friendship.

This exhibition highlights a selection of 50 postcards sent between the two during the span of their project that offers a unique snapshot of contemporary Australia.

Based in Albury and Toowoomba respectively, Lisa and Ben originally met while both working as digital producers for the ABC.

Moving away from their digital tools for this exhibition, they use more traditional mediums such as ink, watercolour, gouache and pencil to create their art and document slices of life.
