Today, Administrator Samantha Power met with Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko to discuss USAID's ongoing support for Ukraine's economic recovery. Administrator Power and Minister Svyrydenko discussed the importance of Ukraine's continued progress towards USAID-supported economic reforms that increase private sector investment, facilitate trade, and increase domestic tax revenue. Administrator Power underscored the U.S. government's commitment to Ukraine and reaffirmed USAID's steadfast support for the country's resistance to Russia's full-scale invasion.
