On September 19, Feed the Future Global Coordinator and USAID Administrator Samantha Power and Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs Jake Sullivan will deliver remarks on Capitol Hill announcing the launch of the "Feed the Future Accelerator" to leverage U.S. investments to regionally increase agricultural production and trade as well as address food insecurity in Southern and Eastern Africa. The remarks will highlight President Biden's commitment to accelerating sustainable infrastructure investment through the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGI).
The event will feature additional remarks by Members of Congress and a panel discussion with Feed the Future stakeholders and leaders.
