Under the Code of Practice for Electric Line Clearance, Swan Hill Rural City Council must maintain vegetation clearance around powerlines in compliance with the Electrical Safety (Electric Line Clearance) Regulations 2020 (Vic) and the Code of Practice for Electric Line Clearance set out in the Schedule to the Regulations.
Swan Hill Rural City Council wish to advise affected residents that under the Code of Practice for Electric Line Clearance, works to prune the street trees throughout Swan Hill to meet the statutory clearance space will be carried out commencing after 14 days from this notice and will be completed within 60 days.
