What existing iOS users need to do
If you're an existing Record My Hours iOS app user, hours of work and any other data stored in the app won't transfer when you update to the new version.
To keep your existing data, make sure you export and save it outside the app before upgrading to the new version. If you have automatic updates enabled for the app, you should export your data now in case you need to access the data again after the app automatically updates.
You can do this in the app by exporting your data:
- to your preferred email address, or
- to your iCloud account.
What's new
The new version of the Record My Hours smartphone app has been rebuilt to make it more modern and secure. The app will continue to make it easy for employees to record and store the hours they work, plus other information about their employment. The new version also has:
- privacy and security improvements
- an enhanced address look-up feature to help with setting workplaces
- bug fixes and other minor enhancements
- new data import features for users needing to import data from the old version of the app to the new version or restoring their device from a back up.
