A Probationary (P1) driver has had their car impounded after they was caught speeding in Bundoora this morning.
Greensborough Highway Patrol officers intercepted a Subaru driving on the Metropolitan Ring Road about 2.55am on 8 December.
Police clocked the driver at an alleged speed of 195km/h in a 110km/h zone.
The Subaru was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $992.52.
The driver, an 18-year-old South Morang man, will be summonsed to appear at a magistrates' court to face multiple speed related offences.
