Probes Launched After Offensive Graffiti Found in Sydney

Police are investigating after offensive graffiti was located on a home in Sydney's east and on a synagogue in Sydney's inner west overnight.

Officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were notified about 6.30am today (Saturday 11 January 2025) after graffiti was spray painted on a house on Henry Street, Queens Park.

An investigation into the incident has commenced.

About 7.30am, officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command were notified after graffiti was spray painted on a synagogue on Georgina Street, Newtown.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has commenced.

In a separate incident, an investigation has commenced in relation to offensive comments written on a poster on Marrickville Road, Marrickville.
