Police are appealing for public assistance as they continue to investigate a number of break and enters in Sydney's south this week.
Between 11.30pm on Tuesday 7 January 2025 and 1.30am on Wednesday 8 January 2025, a number of people attempted to gain entry into four homes on Harris Street and Plimsoll Street, Sans Souci.
About 2.05am on Wednesday 8 January 2025, a number of people gained entry to a home on George Street, Bexley, where two sets of keys were taken.
About 2.30am, a number of people attempted to gain entry to a home on Westminster Street, Bexley.
About 2.40am, a number of people gained entry to a home on Princes Street, Bexley, and left a short time later, taking three handbags, an e-bike and a set of keys.
About 3.30am, officers from St George Police Area Command were called to Princes Street, Bexley after a number of people attempted to gain entry to a further two homes on Princes Street.
Police were told a number of people – one armed with a screwdriver – walked towards the door of a home before retreating.
A short time later, the group then entered the backyard of a nearby property on the same street, before an occupant of the house was awoken and chased the people onto the street.
The group was last seen running southbound towards Forest Road.
Officers from St George Police Area Command have commenced inquiries into the incidents which they believe are linked.
Police have received no reports of anyone being injured during the incidents.
As investigations continue, police would like to speak to three people who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The first was seen wearing a black hooded jumper with a white reflective line on the back, a balaclava with black and white stripes, black tracksuit pants and black, white and light red 'Nike' shoes.
The other two people were seen wearing a black hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants, with one wearing black shoes and another wearing black socks and black and white slides.
