Program to maintain sewage network

Almost $3.2 million will be spent this financial year to maintain the structural integrity of the city's sewer system.

As part of its maintenance of the sewer reticulation network, Council has an ongoing capital works program for in-situ sewer relining works.

The program aims to ensure the structural integrity of the sewer mains by protective relining of the sewer system, which extends the life of the assets and improves efficiencies in the network.
