Join us for a community day on Thursday 13 April as we celebrate the opening of stage one of Progress Reserve. It will be a day full of fun, with free coffee and ice-cream, and kid-friendly activities from 2pm – 4pm.
Progress Reserve is a space for the Coolaroo community to enjoy a range of play equipment for all ages and abilities in a safe and inclusive environment.
Residents will also have the opportunity to enjoy the new purpose built play and recreation environment which includes a scooter track, covered picnic and BBQ area, nature play area, a climbing tower, tunnel play, junior and senior play areas, landscaped garden, tree planting, connected path network, irrigated lawn, seating and picnic settings and public toilets.
This project is delivered in partnership between Hume City Council and the Victorian Government.
This project is part of Council's record $558 million capital works program delivering more than 500 projects over the next four years, creating local construction jobs and stimulating our economy.
Construction on stages two and three of Progress Reserve are expected to be undertaken during 2023-24.
Progress Reserve is located at Almurta Avenue, Coolaroo.
