Property Crime At Logan

Logan police are intensifying efforts to disrupt and apprehend offenders responsible for multiple property crimes across the region.

Following a series of break ins, robberies, and vehicle thefts across Rochedale South, Carindale, Eagleby, Underwood, and Manly West, police are actively targeting those responsible and implementing strategic enforcement measures to prevent further offending.

Acting Chief Superintendent Mark Thompson reassured the community that police are taking strong and immediate action to prevent and disrupt further property offences.

"These offences are completely unacceptable. Our highest priority is the safety of our community.

"Our officers are conducting high-visibility patrols, and targeted investigations to track down and arrest those responsible.

"We are working around the clock to hold these offenders to account," Acting Chief Superintendent Thompson said.

Police continue to work closely with specialist units, including the Dog Squad, PolAir, and Tactical Crime Squad, to locate and intercept offenders.

"The public plays an important role in helping us investigate and disrupt crime, and we urge residents to report all suspicious behaviour directly to police.

"While social media can be a useful tool for community awareness, the best way to ensure police can act quickly is to contact Triple Zero (000) in an emergency or Policelink for non-urgent matters," Acting Chief Superintendent Thompson said.

Police are also engaging with community leaders and local businesses to provide security advice and support crime prevention initiatives.

"Everyone deserves to feel safe in their home and community, and we are committed to using every available resource to put these offenders before the courts," Acting Chief Superintendent Thompson said.

Investigations into recent incidents are ongoing, and police urge anyone with information, CCTV, or dashcam footage to contact police.
