Police are investigating following multiple property offences that occurred near a Newtown pharmacy early this morning, March 14.
Emergency services were called to the Taylor Street shopping complex at approximately 1.20am to reports two utilities had driven into the front entry of the business, and attempted to steal an ATM.
Upon arrival, the vehicles left the scene, causing significant damage to the pharmacy and surrounding area.
A short time later, one of the vehicles involved, a stolen 2009 white Toyota Hilux, was located abandoned and burnt-out along Blackwell Road in Westbrook at 2.20am.
It was stolen from an Alderley Street property in Harristown on Tuesday night, March 12.
The other vehicle, a stolen 2023 Toyota Hilux, was located abandoned along Ellis Street, near Taylor Street, in Toowoomba just after 3.30am, March 14.
It was stolen from a Lewis Street property in Torrington at approximately 1am this morning, March 14.
No one was physically injured.
Anyone with information, or relevant CCTV or dashcam vision, is urged to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
