The Geographical Names Board is seeking public comment on a proposal by Clarence Valley Council to name the following:
Iluka Memorial Park for a reserve in the locality of Iluka, Clarence Valley Local Government Area (LGA). The reserve is bounded by Clarence River and Charles Street, and is the location of the Iluka Cenotaph.
The proposal can be viewed, and submissions lodged on the Geographical Names Board website from 3 April to 3 May 2024. Alternatively, written submissions can be mailed to the Secretary, Geographical Names Board, 346 Panorama Avenue, Bathurst, NSW 2795.
In accordance with Section 9 of the Geographical Names Act 1966, all submissions lodged may be subject to a Government Information (Public Access) application and may be viewed by a third party to assist the Board in considering this proposal.
