PSPA Emergency Declaration Declared At Dirranbandi

Police have declared an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) in Dirranbandi this evening.

Emergency services were called to reports of a grass fire approximately 4km outside of Dirranbandi around 2:14pm.

A PSPA was subsequently declared.

Police are assisting with evacuating residents of Dirranbandi.

There is no further information at this time.
