A psychiatrist has been charged with the alleged sexual touching of a patient on the state's Central Coast earlier this year.
Officers from Brisbane Waters Police District commenced an investigation after a 37-year-old woman reported she'd allegedly been sexual touched by a treating psychiatrist during a consultation at a medical facility in Woy Woy on Wednesday 28 February 2024.
Following lengthy inquiries, a 55-year-old man was arrested when he attended Gosford Police Station today (Monday 23 December 2024) and has been charged with one count of sexually touch another person without consent.
He has been granted conditional bail to appear at Gosford Local Court on Thursday 23 January 2025.
