Police are seeking public assistance in identifying a young girl who was found in Smithfield last night, April 19.
Around 8.30pm, police were called to a shopping centre on the Captain Cook Highway, after members of the public found the girl near the bus stop.
She is described as being approximately 4 years old, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, with brown eyes and brown hair.
She is wearing a pink dress with flowers on it.
