Public Exhibition of Draft Policy - Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors

Council is reviewing its Policy for the Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors, made under the Local Government Act 1993. As part of this process, Council is also required to give public notice of its intention to amend the policy, and allow the public to make submissions.

At its meeting on 27 July 2021, Council resolved to place the Draft Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors Policy on public exhibition for a period of 28 days and seek submissions from interested parties.

Council's Draft Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors Policy is available for view and comment on Council's website hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au via the Have Your Say tab or the direct link yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au until Wednesday, 15 September 2021.

Submissions may be made by completing an online submission via yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au
