Mental health clinicians interested in working with individuals to protect public safety are invited to attend a Queensland Corrective Services information session in Toowoomba next week.
QCS Mental Health Services Manager Katherine Keiler said the information session would provide an opportunity for qualified mental health professionals to learn about the various roles available at the new Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre, including positions for psychologists, occupational therapists, and social workers.
"We are looking for dedicated mental health professionals who are passionate about rehabilitation and making a positive impact on public safety," she said.
"There are a range of secure positions available, with benefits that support work life balance as well as career development within QCS.
