The Palaszczuk Government is investing $1.25 million to support research projects that improve educational outcomes for Queensland students.
Education Minister Grace Grace has today announced that 2024 applications are now open for high quality early childhood and school education research under the Education Horizon grant scheme.
Research projects can cover a wide range of education matters including educational leadership and teaching expertise, digital innovation, educational performance and support, education infrastructure and the learning journey.
The successful applicants will be selected by a departmental panel, with project timeframes ranging from six months to two years.
Grants are open to academics at Queensland universities or an interstate university with a significant campus in Queensland.
Successful recipients of the 2024 round will be announced in March next year.
