Queensland Police Hunt for Violent Burglar in Miles

Police are appealing for information following an alleged burglary with violence in Miles last night, June 4.

Initial investigations indicate around 7.30pm, three people forced entry into an Eleanor Street residence and an altercation has occurred between the offenders and two occupants of the home.

A 72-year-old man was transported to Miles Hospital with minor injuries to his head and wrist.

A 72-year-old woman was physically uninjured.

The three people are described as male, tall, skinny, wearing all black with facemasks and hats.

Police are appealing to anyone with further information or footage from the area at the time of the incident, to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
