Queensland Police Seek Public Aid in Acacia Ridge Crash Probe

Police are appealing for public assistance following a serious traffic crash in Acacia Ridge yesterday morning, June 12.

Initial information indicates shortly 8am, a white Toyota utility and blue Yamaha motorbike collided at the intersection of Mortimer Road near Gregory Street.

The motorbike rider, a 39-year-old Stockleigh man, sustained critical injuries and was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The driver of the utility, a 46-year-old Mansfield man, was not physically injured and is assisting police with inquiries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or any one with dashcam vision from the area to come forward.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
