Queensland Police Seek Public Help in Wynnum Assault Probe

Detectives from Wynnum Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) have released CCTV vision of a man they believe may be able to assist them with their investigations into a grievous bodily harm incident that occurred in Wynnum on April 21.

Investigations indicate at approximately 1am on Sunday, a man assaulted another man whilst inside a licenced venue on Berrima Street.

The man then left the venue in a large dark colour SUV or similar.

The victim, a 27-year-old Wynnum West man, suffered multiple facial fractures and was transported to hospital where he was required to undergo corrective surgery.

Police have released CCTV of a man that may be able to assist with ongoing investigations.

Police appeal to the man, or anyone who may recognise him, to come forward.

Any witnesses, or anyone with information about the incident is also urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
