A group of eleven lucky Queenslanders are celebrating a life-changing weekend after scooping a slice from the $5.3 million top prize in the Saturday Gold Lotto.
The syndicate members spreading far and wide across Queensland held one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4503, drawn on Saturday 14 September 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $660,110.33.
In addition to winning division, the group syndicate’s winning System 9 and 10 entry also won division three 24 times, division four 90 times, and division six 80 times, bolstering their total windfall to $683,587.53.
Each member of the syndicate took home a prize worth $62,144.32.
Shares into the winning syndicate were set up by Nextra Earlville, Shop 44 Stockland, 537 Mulgrave Road, Earlville, and were also sold at the following licensed lottery outlets:
- Nextra Aspley Hypermarket, Shop 11A, Aspley Hypermarket, 59 Albany Creek Road, Aspley.
- Nextra Plaza Parade, Shop 408, Sunshine Plaza, 50 Plaza Parade, Maroochydore.
- Nextra Queen St Mall, Shop G01 60 Queen Street, Queen St, Brisbane.
- Nextra Swan Newsagency, Shop 137 Sunshine Plaza, 156-164 Horton Parade, Maroochydore.
Nextra Earlville manager Joel Philip said he was so excited to hear his team had sold a division one winning syndicate entry and immediately thought how amazing it would be to win.
“It’s such great news! This syndicate has been running for over a year now. We try and make the same syndicates every week and keep a huge range for all our customers,” he shared.
“To say our customers will be excited is an understatement. I know they will be thrilled that it has been shared around.
“The last time we sold a division one winning entry was in April 2019, so we’re really pleased to have seen another one come our way this year!
“We hope our division one syndicate members are as excited as we are. We wish them all the best and congratulate them on their windfall.”
While some of the winning syndicate members held registered entries and have been notified of their win, The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said some of the winning group might still be unaware of their good fortune.
“We’ve been reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their tickets to their player card or online account. However, some of the syndicate members held unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group,” she said.
“If you purchased a share into a store syndicate in the recent Saturday Gold Lotto draw, today’s the day to check it!
“Players can check their tickets in-store, online via thelott.com, or via The Lott app.
“If you discover you’re holding a winning syndicate share, call The Lott on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!
“This is also an important reminder for players to register their lottery tickets to a player card or online account, so if they are to score division one, we can reach out to them after the draw.”
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4503 on 14 September 2024 were 6, 32, 38, 22, 14, and 34, while the supplementary numbers were 19 and 41.
Across Australia, there were eight division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4503 – three in Queensland, two each in Victoria and South Australia, and one in New South Wales.
