The ReUse Shop at the Kempsey Waste Management Centre on Crescent Head Road, South Kempsey has temporarily closed while Council undertakes a review of the facility.
The review will provide recommendations to improve safety and convenience for visitors to the site.
As there is a high level of construction activity currently occurring at the Waste Management Centre due to the development of a new landfill cell, operational areas are restricted for the safety of staff and the public.
There are many platforms which support the recycling of items that residents can use such as charity shops and online websites such as Facebook Marketplace, eBay and Gumtree to name a few.
Council will notify the public once the review has been completed.
