Rabobank Recognised As Australia's Most Recommended Agribusiness Bank

Rabobank

Rabobank has been recognised as the most recommended agribusiness bank in Australia in the 2024 RFI Global Banking & Finance Awards.

RFI chief customer officer Julien Wilson said unlike other awards programs, winners of RFI's Banking & Finance Awards were determined by customers.

"Rabobank was awarded 'Most Recommended Agribusiness Bank, which recognises the highest performer in the feedback scores RFI receives among agribusiness banking customers," he said.

Part of the global cooperative Rabobank Group, the world's leading specialist food and agribusiness bank, Rabobank Australia is a major provider of corporate banking services to the nation's food and agribusiness sector and one of the country's leading agricultural and agribusiness banks. It also operates online retail savings and deposits business Rabobank Online Savings, with deposits supporting Australian farmers and agribusinesses.

The RFI Banking & Finance Awards are based on data collected from Australia's largest independent financial services study, Atlas, identifying leading brands in a range of categories.

Based on interviews with more than 80,000 Australian consumers and businesses over a 12-month period, the awards celebrate the most recommended brands and most innovative and trustworthy organisations, as well as those that are the most competitive and best-in-class for digital, relationship managers and customer service across banking.

Rabobank Australia CEO Mark Wiessing said the most recommended agribusiness bank award was "particularly special and meaningful" as it came from the bank's clients, reflecting both Rabobank's strong customer relationships and the value clients placed on the bank's outstanding support and service.

"To be held in such high regard by our clients shows the value they place in the service Rabobank provides as an organisation which is focused on the specific needs of agriculture and agribusiness," he said.

"The award is an acknowledgement of the quality of our excellent staff, the bank's leading-edge knowledge and understanding of agriculture and our commitment to supporting our clients through both the good times and the more challenging."
