- Radiohead have continued sharing a series of intriguing images for five days, despite the fact they released their album, A Moon Shaped Pool, last weekend, Gigwise said.
Originally two paintings appeared on the homepage of their website. And, after Radiohead deleted everything off their social media accounts, they posted brief teaser videos on Instagram prior to the release of 'Burn the Witch' and 'Daydreaming'.
They also recently posted the first in a series of artist-created vignettes inspired by their new album. But, now they have continued to post mysterious artwork, one of the latest including a bewildering caption, "you are lost".
"What does it all mean? Best case scenario, more material - though another album or EP seem highly implausable. New tour dates, to make up for the fact the Roundhouse shows were sold out in seconds? Again, unlikely.
Worst case scenario - it means absolutely nothing, and is simply the band toying with our extreme focus on their social media, seemingly a more likely conclusion. Though, as one reddit user pointed out, it could also help put-together the order in which singles are released from 'A Moon Shaped Pool'.
Either way, it certainly adds to the already perplexing mythos of Radiohead - the engimatic band, and its equally peculiar fans. Last week, fans were video'd eating pictures of Thom Yorke's face as punishment after getting the release date wrong.
However, our favourite response to the new album was the 8-year-old who hilariously reviewed the album," Gigwise said.
