- Ahead of their new album A Moon Shaped Pool being made available, arguably Radiohead's finest record In Rainbows can now be streamed online for free on Spotify, Gigwise reports.
Despite Yorke once comparing streaming services to 'Nazi Germany' and a number of the band's albums and tracks being taken down from Spotify earlier this year, it was this week confirmed that their new album would be appearing on Spotify as of next Friday.
Now, once famously released under the 'pay what you like' model, In Rainbows can now be heard in Spotify in all of its glory, Gigwise said.
Naming In Rainbows as Radiohead's best album, Gigwise said: "Creativity is an never-ending concept, it's what makes the existence of it so abstract. In Rainbows is creativity in singularity form. Radiohead have always transcended convention but In Rainbows trifled with sounds of celestial proportions. It rolls up the emotional spectrum and distributes it out one track at a time.
"We spoke before of Radiohead 'the personality band' and we truly believe In Rainbows is the topography of their souls. It's complex and insatiable but emotionally resonant, an otherworldly record created for the ears of this world - that's the Radiohead way."
The 'Creep' icons are currently in the midst of a world tour - with highlights including their incredible shows at London's Roundhouse and last week's Primavera Sound Festival, Gigwise said.
