Raptor Squad officers have charged two men and a woman for their alleged roles in the mass street supply of drugs in Sydney's inner west following a drug bust in Dulwich Hill yesterday morning.
In March 2024, officers attached to State Crime Command's Raptor Squad established Strike Force Kimian to investigate the organised street supply and sale of cocaine and other prohibited drugs in Sydney.
Following extensive investigations, strike force officers arrested three people – a 38-year-old man, a 24-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman – in Dulwich Hill about 10am yesterday (Tuesday 24 September 2024), before taking them to Surry Hills Police Station.
During the arrests strike force officers located over half a kilo of cocaine – contained in multiple vacuum sealed bags – with an estimated street value of over $200,000.
Following the arrests, strike force officers executed multiple search warrants at homes in Dulwich Hill and Erskineville and a storage facility at Waterloo.
During the searches officers located and seized 1.2kg if MDMA, 5.1kg of THC gummies, 400 LSD tablets, 1kg of psilocybin and 1.6kg of cannabis.
The estimated combined street value of the additional drugs seized is estimated to be $650,000.
The 38-year-old man was charged with seven counts of supply prohibited drug indictable quantity, three counts of supply prohibited drug commercial quantity, three counts of supply prohibited drug large commercial quantity, supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, participate criminal group contribute criminal group and supply cannabis indictable quantity.
The 24-year-old man was charged with three counts of supply prohibited drug indictable quantity, three counts of possess prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug commercial quantity and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
The 37-year-old woman was charged with four counts of supply prohibited drug indictable quantity, three counts of supply prohibited drug commercial quantity, three counts of supply prohibited drug large commercial quantity supply prohibited drug on an ongoing basis, participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, owner/occupier knowingly allow use as drug premises and supply cannabis indictable quantity.
All three were refused bail to appear before Downing Centre Local Court today (Wednesday 25 September 2024).
Police will allege in court this group is one of the largest street suppliers of cocaine and other prohibited drugs operating in Sydney's inner west.
