Police are re-appealing for information after a man was taken to hospital in a serious condition after a shooting in the state’s Murray River region earlier this month, NSW Police say.
About 2.30am (Thursday 10 May 2018), emergency services were called to a property on Koraleigh Road, Tooleybuc (about 47km from Swan Hill), after reports a man had been shot after a break and enter.
Police were told a group of men entered the property and threatened the occupant, a 30-year-old man, with a firearm.
The man suffered gunshot wounds to both of his legs and was airlifted to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition.
The group fled the scene.
Officers from the Murray River Police District established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the incident.
Police have released a CCTV image of a vehicle seen in the early hours of the morning of Thursday 10 May 2018.
The vehicle depicted in this image is described as being a white Holden sedan, believed to be used at the time of the incident.
As inquiries continue, police would like to speak to anyone who may be able to identify the vehicle or the occupants. Anyone with information is urged to contact Deniliquin Detectives on (03) 5881 9149 or Crime Stoppers.
