Recognising Volunteer Services

Volunteer groups and organisations enrich lives and strengthen our community. Honour their valuable contribution by nominating them for the Knox Community Awards by 28 March.

Our Awards are an important way for us to recognise and appreciate the important contribution that groups and organisations make in Knox.

Many volunteer groups and organisations dedicate their time to support those in need, or champion important causes in our community.

We are inviting nominations for the Knox Community Organisation of the Year Award, to recognise outstanding services that benefit our community.

This Award category also recognises community projects or events undertaken in the last 12 months, that demonstrate a positive impact in Knox.

We are also inviting groups and organisations to nominate their long serving volunteers for the Recognition of Years of Service Award. Volunteers who have provided continuous volunteer service for 10 years, 15 years and 20+ years are eligible for this category.

Other award categories include:

  • Knox Volunteer of the Year
  • Outstanding Volunteer Service

Winners will be announced at an event during National Volunteer Week (19-25 May) this year.

Nominations close Friday 28 March. For more information the Knox Community Awards webpage .
