Recycling Drop Off returns this month

Polystyrene

Now is the time to gather your excess recycling and dispose of it with Council hosting the final Recycling Drop Off event for 2021 this month.

The Recycling Drop Off, to be held at Council's Works Depot located at 5 Millwood Avenue in Narellan on Saturday 27 November, allows residents who are fully vaccinated the chance to recycle more for free.

The event comes at the perfect time after many families had time to declutter their homes throughout the lockdown period in Sydney this year, as well as more than 100 residents calling Camden their new home on a weekly basis.

For the safety of both the community and staff and as part of Council's COVID-19 Safe Plan, only fully vaccinated residents are to attend the Recycling Drop off. Residents are asked to remain in their cars when they attend Council's Works Depot.

Items that will be accepted on the day include:

  • Bulky cardboard;
  • Paper;
  • Plastic bottles and containers;
  • Glass bottles;
  • Cans; and
  • Polystyrene (not accepted in the yellow bin)
