An EMERGENCY ALERT has been issued at 9.52am, Wednesday March 5, 2025 by Redland City Council.

This is a STORM TIDE WATCH AND ACT message from Redland City Council. Redlands Coastal areas and Islands are likely to be affected by a very dangerous Storm Tide caused by Cyclone Alfred FROM WEDNESDAY MARCH 6. You should WARN NEIGHBOURS, SECURE BELONGINGS and SEEK SAFE SHELTER. For more information listen to radio ABC612, BAYFM 100.3 or go to disaster.redland.qld.gov.au.
