Regulatory Risk Priorities 2024-25

Today, we have published our Regulatory Risk Priorities for 2024-25.

We identify our Regulatory Risk Priorities through:

• environmental scans and sector research

• issues raised by students and other stakeholders, and

• internal data collection and analysis.

There are a range of regulatory mechanisms currently in place to treat and mitigate identified areas of risk including:

• quality and performance assessments

• compliance management and enforcement actions

• targeted education campaigns aimed at improving the quality of vocational education and training.

Thank you to all those who participated in our research to identify the areas posing the greatest risk to Australia's vocational education and training sector.
