Researchers Receive Grant From Villum Fonden

This year, Villum Fonden awards DKK 47 million to 10 projects. All projects are data-driven, but the partner depends entirely on the nature of the problem to be addressed.

Villum Synergy grant recipients

  • Associate Professor Martin Andersen, DTU Compute, and Associate Professor Evangelos Katsanos, DTU Construct, receive the grant for the project "Physics-Informed and Data-Driven Structural Health Assessment of Offshore Infrastructures".
  • Professor Aasa Feragen, DTU Compute, receives, in collaboration with Associate Professor Pia Nyeng, Department of Science and Environment, Roskilde University, the grant for the project "Decoding the coordination of biological networks (DECONET)".
  • Senior Researcher Jakob Sauer Jørgensen, DTU Compute, and Senior Researcher Navid Ranjbar, DTU Construct, receives the grant for the project "MathCrete; Convergence of data and material science: crafting carbon-negative cement".
