Retail Therapy Boosts Local Businesses

Willoughby and Ku-ring-gai Councils are celebrating Small Business Month in October with a special workshop tailored for local retail businesses.

The workshop will be held at the Zenith Centre, Chatswood between 7am and 9am on Wednesday 30 October.

Local businesses will hear the latest insights on retailing trends and gain insights from their peers who have found retailing success. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask a panel of retailing experts for advice.

The guest speaker is Andrew Benefield from Cha Time, who will share his knowledge of what makes a retail business stand out from the crowd. Cha Time is the largest teahouse franchise in the world, operating more than 2500 outlets in 38 countries.

Courtney Ownings, Centre Manager from Westfield Chatswood will discuss how to draw shoppers into your store and economic development staff from Willoughby and Ku-ring-gai Councils will be available to answer questions and provide further resources and information.
