Retailers Rally Behind First Responders Day

More than 60 Australian retailers, representing thousands of stores nationwide, will participate in First Responders Day tomorrow, Thursday 16 May, offering special deals as a thank you to our frontline heroes.  

Some of the country's most iconic brands, David Jones, Myer, Costco, JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Red Rooster, Best&Less and more are participating – with discounts typically ranging between 10 to 30 per cent off instore items. First Responders Day is proudly sponsored by American Express. 

Top deals include:  

• 10 per cent off instore items at Myer.

• 10 per cent off a range of full-priced beauty, fashion, shoes, accessories, homewares and electrical instore at David Jones.

• 20 per cent off instore and online purchases at Best&Less.

• 10 per cent off storewide at Barbeques Galore.

• $30 off when you spend over $250 at JB Hi-Fi.

• 20 per cent off instore at Nike stores.

• 20 per cent off instore at Suzanne Grae, Sussan and Sportsgirl.

• 20 per cent off storewide at Bevilles. 

• Exclusive warehouse savings at Costco. 

• 5 per cent off TVs, home appliances and tech instore at The Good Guys.

Offers are available to Australia's approximate 300,000 first responders, including medical and health workers, doctors, nurses and paramedics, as well as ambulance staff, police personnel, firefighters, defence and border force personnel, SES, lifesavers and quarantine workers.
